A set of informational documents created for Legal Aid at Work to help undocumented workers navigate California disability insurance and paid family leave. It includes a full booklet, handout, and supplement. Documents were both for print and digital use. This information became crucial for people losing their jobs or going on hiatus during the pandemic.
Layout was designed to be as accessible as possible. With documents text-heavy, information was divided into steps, icons used, and separators employed to make it as easy to digest as possible. Larger fonts were also employed as well as multiple language versions created. Besides English, language translations included Spanish, Chinese, Vietnamese, Korean, Tagalog, and Punjabi.
