Original show art concept & design for Cal Shakes' 2018 Quixote Nuevo. Conceived through conversations with Eric Ting (Artistic Director, Cal Shakes) and show production pitch from director KJ Sanchez and playwright Octavio Solis. The art reflects the vision and spirit of the show — a modern retake with music (but not a musical) of Miguel de Cervantes' classic Don Quixote.
Includes a full suite of digital assets (web banners and ads), print assets (ads, promotional material), printed program, t-shirt design, cast teaser, and video teaser utilizing design elements from the show and creation of soundscape.
NOTE: the underlying 2018 season theme was "LOVE". Every piece of show art for the season contained a heart with a different meaning. Here it is meant to represent romantic love.
